Kali Dog, The Royal Chemdawg

Kali Dog is a good example of strong genetics sourced from growers in the United States. Although she is an indica dominant plant, there is a strong influence of the sativa traits stemming from her great genetics; large, dense buds, strongly skunky scents, full-bodied aroma and very intoxicating.

Originally grown over 20 years ago, this vigorous strain has a pithy, almost overwhelming lemon-fuel taste. Growers will love this strain for both its compact and dense growth and its generous yields. Indoor 450-500 grams per square meter grown under a 600 watt HPS lamp are easily achievable. It is a good feeder and can therefore easily absorb strong flower boosters and nutrients.

Dense and tasty buds

However, they can be a little more difficult to grow and the plants tend to be less humid - there may be a risk of root rot, mold, or mildew. This is mainly due to the heavy, dense buds - so watch out for them, but it's definitely worth the extra attention. It responds well to pruning and it is advisable not to over-grow it during vegetative growth as the plants tend to stretch for the first few weeks of flowering. Flowering takes about 8 to 10 weeks .
